REMEMBER ALL WHO HAVE WORN THE UNIFORM

Veterans Day 2024 takes place on Monday, November 11, 2024. On behalf of NAC-SNM, we express our profound appreciation to our military Veterans who have heeded the call to serve our Nation.

Veterans Day dates back to the end of WWI, and the establishment of Armistice Day on November 9, 1918. In 1954, Congress changed Armistice Day to Veterans Day to acknowledge all military Veterans.
In recognition of the first Veterans Day, President Dwight D. Eisenhower declared “let us solemnly remember the sacrifices of all those who fought valiantly, on the seas, in the air, and on foreign shores, to preserve our heritage of freedom, and let us reconsecrate ourselves to promoting an enduring peace so that their efforts shall not have been in vain.”

On November 11, 2024, we honor those Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, and Airmen who have served this Nation in war and peace. Let us extend our deepest appreciation to them for their generosity and recognize the sacrifices they have made as members of the United States Armed Forces.

This Veterans Day, let us take time to remember all who have worn the uniform. It is our distinct honor to thank you for your service.
