Next Gen Contributing WritersThe Native American Church – State of New Mexico (NAC-SNM) Next Gen Members are pleased to announce that the NAC-SNM has been accredited to participate in the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues. NAC-SNM looks forward to its continued work to advance the NAC’s interests at this multinational forum.The United Nations meeting at the 24th Session of the Permanent Forum is a platform where Indigenous Peoples from around the world can influence international policies that directly impact their traditional ways of life, indigenous languages, and culture.

This year’s theme is Implementing the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples within United Nations Member States and the United Nations system, including identifying good practices and addressing challenges.
